The main entrance of the Botanical Garden, which is clearly visible from Via Foria, is equipped with a wrought-iron gate from which a double staircase originates and then converges, reaching the level of the Garden, which is about 7 meters higher than the road. The staircase was designed by the architect Giuliano De Fazio a few years after the foundation of the Botanical Garden.
